Question by Patrick M: What do you think about the polling of this election? It seems that the polls were quite accurate? I have always wondered if polling in itself becomes a self fulfilling prophecy for any election. In other words if polling calls an election 52% to 46% like what actually happened in this election, does that mean that voters/turnout will shape themselves into that mold? Or do you believe polls are just very, very accurate? What do you think? Best answer:

Seems like they were too scared to make predictions. Canada news was predicting faster than American media was. It seems Obama did better than any polls predicted.
