Question by berrytrain: Is there ANY differences between renting a condo and renting an apartment? I rented a condo today. The condo is owned by a large corporation. It is in a condo community. Most of the condos are privately owned. But a few are corporate owned, and rented out. Is there any difference between renting a condo and renting an apartment? Is a condo building built better than an apartment building? Why is it called a condo, and not an apartment? I really don't get it. Thanks.
