Really Funny Cool Pets images

A few nice pets images I found:

This family were sitting on the harbour wall eating fish and chips. Their pet, a young meerkat, was enjoying a piece of fish. I was bending down to take this shot and they thought I was photographing the meerkat, but as I have a wide angle lens on the camera I was actually photographing both of them.

Japanese is such a flexible language with no concept of parallelism. Note how the five-step procedure in the middle mixes apples and oranges: three verbs with the subject you, an adjectival phrase, and a description, not a step. Believe me, a 3 out of 5 (60%) score is HIGH. I know because I translate these half-fast procedures in my day job. But I digress... FWIW, there's an additional step in the middle: Remove the plastic film label. The local Pepsi bottler provides perforations to assist with removal, but not the Coca Cola one. • 回収ボックス(kaishū bokkusu) = "collection box" • キャップを外す(kyappu wo hazusu) = "remove cap" • サーッと洗う(sātto arau) = "rinse" • 潰す(tsubuku) = "crush" • 回収ボックスへ[入れる](kaishū bokkusu he [ireru]) = "[put/insert] into collection box" • 生まれ変わります(umarekawarimasu) = "[The plastic] is reborn." • ペットボトル(petto botoru) = "plastic bottle" ↑ PET = polyethylene terephthalate, a term unknown to 99% of the North American public. We call them plastic bottles.
